About Harmony Jackson
She has taught yoga with the intention of providing a safe space for overworked women in the education industry. Harmony received her yoga teacher certification in Hatha Yoga at Rishikul Yogshala in Kerala, India in August of 2018. Since then, she also worked as a kids yoga teacher for summer camps, dance intensives, preschools, and after school programs.
Class Description
During times of unrest and protest that are happening outside of ourselves, it is important to take time to center the mind and body. This practice focused on restoring balance as we focused on use of the breath and moved through the physical practice of yoga. The class consisted of mantras, salutations of the sun or moon, asanas, and ended with journaling or meditation. This class was created as a safe space specifically for black women.

This mantra calls to Divine Energy to block any obstacle in the path of your endeavors.

This mantra invokes peace, happiness, understanding, and love of self within self and around the world. It releases the focus from ego and shifts it to the worldview. It is a reminder that we are all one.
